Online and face to face counselling and Psychotherapy
Looking for a psychotherapist?
Any honest person will tell you that there are times when they feel overwhelmed with the events of their lives; stressed, unhappy, anxious or dissatisfied.
The support offered by professional counselling and psychotherapy can be profoundly helpful to a person who finds him or herself stuck in such a painful state of mind and body.
The impulse to seek professional help may also arise from a more diffuse feeling, e.g. a sense that one's life could be deeper, richer and more vital. Perhaps there are painful patterns of relating with oneself and others that keep repeating themselves but the reasons for this are unclear? It can be enormously helpful at such times to work with a professional who is trained to support a deep level of reflection and exploration, all within the context of a therapeutic relationship based on safety and trust.
It's important to find the right person to work with when you are looking for a therapist. What I suggest is that we have a brief initial online meeting of 20 - 30 minutes. There will be no fee for this. If all goes well I would ask you to make a commitment to six sessions after which we can review how it's going for you.
